TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-Songwriter and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens) has announced that he's touring North America in the fall.

The Cat's Attic tour will feature a limited run of performances set to coincide with 50th anniversary of his first hit single release, I Love My Dog (1966).

The tour kicks off at the Sony Centre in Toronto on Sept. 12th and will include Islam's first public shows in New York City since 1976 as well as stops in, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Nashville and Chicago.

A portion of every ticket sold for the tour will benefit the most vulnerable through long term support and building sustainable futures for orphans, children and families. Through Small Kindness, Yusuf's UK founded charity, donations will be made to both UNICEF and International Rescue Committee to help children affected by the current refugee crisis. – Staff Writers
